So I’m being a slacker again. I went out of town for the 4th of July, so I didn’t have time to do food from our next movie The Rescuers. But here’s a great non-Disney appetizer I made for our 4th of July BBQ. I’ll be back next week with food from Disney’s The Rescuers
Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Poppers
Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Poppers

Ingredients
- 12 Smallish Jalapenos
- 12 strips of bacon cut in half
- 1.5 boxes cream cheese
- 1-2 cloves Garlic
- 1 tsp chives
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375F
- Cut the stems off the jalapenos and slice the peppers in half
- Cut out the middle meat of the peppers and deseed the peppers
- Mix the garlic, chives, salt and pepper in with the cream cheese
- Fill the centers of each half pepper with cream cheese mix
- Wrap each pepper with bacon. (if you want to use more than a half-strip per pepper, thats fine)
- Place on a cookie sheet lined with aluminum foil
- Bake for 30-40 minutes or until the bacon is a desired crispiness.
