Quick links: Scotch Eggs | Scotch Cadbury Eggs | Verdict

I don’t know why Disney/Pixar has a hard time with Dinosaur movies. They can make them look beautiful, but they can’t get a solid story. Oh well. There wasn’t really any food in Dinosaur either, except for some prehistoric dinosaur meat, but that didn’t stop us, oh no. We made some great Dinosaur inspired scotch eggs and scotch eggs from Cadbury Eggs! Perfect for the upcoming Easter holiday! Check it out! Also, we made some video content! That will be up later today. Yay! So check out the videos on how to make each egg!

So, when Aladar is still a little eggling, he gets thrown around a bit and even swallowed and spit out again.

That’s the closest to food we could come by. I’ve always wanted to make Scotch Eggs, this gave me the opportunity. They turned out great!

Sweet Cadbury Scotch Egg

So, we wanted to do something extra for cute little Aladar.

So here’s a Disney Meal Original creation! Cadbury Scotch Eggs (They’ve probably been done before, but we came up with our own way of doing them). Now, since this was experimental, we kinda messed up on the first couple, but the last couple were DELICIOUS and oh so fattening! Check it out

Ingredients
  1. 6 Cadbury Creme Eggs (Frozen)
  2. 1 cake box mix
  3. 1/4 cup sour cream
  4. 1/4 cup cream cheese
  5. 2 cups (6oz) Chocolate cookie crumbs
  6. 2 cups (6oz) bread crumbs
  7. 2 cups flour
  8. 2 eggs
  9. 8 oz (2 small packages) White baking chocolate
  10. 4 oz (1 small package) milk baking chocolate or chocolate chips
Instructions
  1. Freeze the Cadbury Eggs overnight. They need to be good and solid
  2. Cook the cake mix as directed
  3. When the cake is cooled enough to handle, add to a mixing bowl
  4. Mix in cream cheese and sour cream until you get a wetter mix
  5. Place the cookie crumbs in one bowl, 1 cup flour in a bowl and crack one egg in the other
  6. Smash the cake around the frozen cadbury egg. Make sure the cake isn't too hot or else it will melt the egg, but if it's too cold, it will have a hard time sticking around the egg
  7. Roll the cake egg in the flour, then the egg then the cookie crumb.
  8. Place on a plate and freeze for at least an hour.
  9. Meanwhile, heat oil in a pan or deep-fryer to 350F
  10. Remove eggs from freezer
  11. Place bread crumbs in a bowl, the remaining flour in another, and crack the last egg into another bowl
  12. Repeat the process of rolling the eggs in the flour, then egg, then bread crumbs.
  13. Carefully place the eggs in the hot oil. Fry until it is golden.
  14. Remove from oil and place on a paper towel to drain.
  15. When the eggs are cool, melt the chocolate (white chocolate in one bowl, milk chocolate in another). You may use the instruction on the back of the box to melt the chocolate.
  16. Swirl a little milk chocolate in the white chocolate and then roll each egg in the white chocolate. Drizzle the milk chocolate on top.
  17. Let eggs chill in fridge until the chocolate has solidified.
  18. Enjoy your eggs

Will it Help You Find the Nesting Grounds?

Both the scotch eggs were super delicious. My wife didn’t like the sausage we used for the regular scotch eggs, so make sure you get some premium sausage!
